How do I register? Complete the form at the bottom of the page.
What do I wear?  White training top, black shorts, and black socks.  A Nexus t-shirt can be purchased ahead of time at our Spirit Store if you'd like to wear that.
What do I bring?  Water bottle, extra black training top for classroom and afternoon training, fuel for the morning (fruit, yogurt, healthy protein...etc)

FAQs:

Do I need to attend the Xperience Day in order to apply?  No.  It is not required to attend. The goal of Xperience Day is for girls to see what a school day would be like at Nexus.  Anyone invited to apply is welcome to apply at anytime with or without attending any admissions events.

Can anyone attend?  No.  Xperience Day is only for select girls who play soccer at a competitive level. If you are interested in attending an Xperience Day, please email [email protected].  Attend a Heart and Sole futsal training, so that we may be able to see where you are in your development.  Please do not register if you have not been invited to attend.

Will I be the only girl?  No.  For us to hold an Xperience Day, we will need at least six (6) girls registered to attend in a similar age group.  Otherwise we will need to cancel.

Will I attend training and the classroom with the boys?  Yes, for Xperience Day, the girls will be mixed in with the boys for most of the day.  While this may not be the case for when girls are attending Nexus for the school year, Xperience Day for the girls will be a combination of co-ed and all-girls. 

Can boys attend?  No.  Xperience Days are not for boys.  Boys go through the application process, and farther in the process, select candidates will be asked to attend a shadow day, where they will come to Nexus on a school day.

Do I have to eat lunch there?  We would like you to eat the nutritious and delicious lunch that our Chef prepares for our boys.  If you have dietary restrictions and prefer to bring your own, that is okay too.  In that case, the $12 is not required.

What exactly will I be doing?  You will participate in all the training and classrooms the current Nexus boys participate in.  The morning futbol session is an intense soccer session that works on individual technical skills or individual tactical skills.  You will be placed in the appropriate skill level group.  You will attend class with the boys.  They all attend ELA, Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies classes.  You'll have lunch and then recess with the boys.  You will then have an afternoon futbol session that could be a combination of any of the following: performance, nutrition, recovery, strength training, soccer, futsal.
