Nexus Scholars Discovery Camps:
Nexus Scholars Discovery Camps cater to rising 3rd and 4th graders interested in experiencing Nexus firsthand or exploring its academic environment. They also appeal to parents seeking to keep their children intellectually engaged during school breaks. We are offering camps in the core subjects of math, ELA, and science.

🔢 What: Dive into the fundamentals of math with our engaging summer workbook sessions.

📚 Activities:

• Daily Starters: Begin each day with exciting manipulatives or illustrations that reinforce workbook concepts.
• Workbook Time: Students will work through their summer workbooks, strengthening their math skills.
• Mini-Lessons: Depending on class size, we'll offer mini-lessons to clarify concepts and provide additional support.
• Task Cards: Challenge yourself with task cards designed to enhance problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
• Finale Game: Wrap up the camp with a fun and interactive game on the last day!

• Peer Sharing: Conclude the week by sharing your creative pieces with fellow campers and celebrating each other's achievements.

ISEE Prep Camps:
Our ISEE prep program focuses on preparing students for our admissions test and building confidence in core subjects. We are offering a one-week intensive camp for Lower Level ISEE prep, and a two-week camp for Middle Level ISEE prep.

📚 What: Dive into a comprehensive one-week intensive camp focusing on each section of the Lower Level ISEE test.

📝 Activities:

• Daily Section Focus: Master a different section of the ISEE test each day, including Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and Mathematics Achievement.
• Interactive Lessons: Engage in interactive lessons tailored to each subject area to reinforce key concepts and strategies.
• Practice Sessions: Put your skills to the test with targeted practice exercises and drills designed to boost confidence and performance.
• Full Practice Day: On the last day, simulate the ISEE testing experience with a practice session that covers all sections of the exam. 

   Who: Students preparing to take the Lower Level ISEE exam.
   When: July 22-26 12-2pm

📚 What: Join our specialized 2-week Middle Level ISEE Prep Camp, designed to enhance your performance on the exam.

• Practice Sessions: Put your skills to the test with targeted math drills and exercises designed to boost confidence and proficiency.
• Full Test Section Practice: Experience the format and challenges of full math sections throughout the week.

📖 Week 2 - Verbal Excellence:

• Daily Section Focus: Crack the Verbal Reasoning and Reading Comprehension sections of the Middle Level ISEE, covering key topics such as vocabulary, grammar, inference, and critical reading skills.
• Interactive Lessons: Engage in dynamic lessons focused on refining your vocabulary, grammar, and reading comprehension skills.
• Practice Sessions: Hone your verbal abilities through targeted exercises and drills.
• Full Test Section Practice: Experience the format and challenges of full verbal sections throughout the week.
• Full Practice Test: Conclude the camp with a full-length practice test, simulating the actual ISEE exam experience.
