Our admissions process is designed to evaluate the whole student: academic readiness, futbol development, character, and family fit.
We are currently accepting applications for grades 3–11 for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Admissions Timeline | 2026–2027

October 1, 2025: Admissions for the 2026–2027 academic year officially open
January 31, 2026: Application deadline for all new applicants
February 12, 2026: Invitations to re-enroll sent to current Nexus students
February 27, 2026: Re-enrollment deadline and deposit due for current Nexus students
March 6, 2026: Admissions decisions* communicated to new applicants
April 11, 2026: Commitment deadline for new families (deposit due)
June 1, 2026: Tuition payment due (or first payment of payment plan)
August 11, 2026: First day of school for the 2026–2027 academic year

Application Checklist
✓ Register as a Nexus Trialist
・Begin the admissions process by submitting the Trialist form (available on the home page). This step lets us see your skills, character, and love for the game.
✓ Submit Online Application
・Complete the online application form.
・Pay the $150 Application Fee (ERB testing fees are separate).
✓ Admissions Testing
・All applicants (grades 3–11) must complete the ISEE through ERB and send their scores to Nexus.Families are responsible for scheduling the exam by the deadline and covering all ERB fees.

✓ Trialist Video
・Applicants must submit video footage as part of the futbol evaluation
・Private Trialist sessions (including video) are available for $125 on the Mindbody App.
✓ Supporting Documents
・Academic records (transcripts or report cards uploaded with the online application)
・Standardized tests taken at school (ie STAAR, CTP, etc.)
・Two teacher recommendations 
・One coach recommendation (current or within the last year)
✓ Interview & Shadow Day
・Shadow day scheduled for selected applicants to experience a school day at Nexus
・Family interview (if requested)
✓ Admissions Decision
・Nexus reviews the complete application package holistically after the admissions deadline.
・Families notified of admissions decisions according to the timeline above
・If there are spots open after the decision day, we will continue to accept applications through the summer.
✓ Tuition & Financial Aid
・Tuition for 2026–2027: $19,900
・Additional costs include lunch (optional), uniforms, field trips, and optional international travel.
・Financial Aid: All families are invited to apply for need-based assistance through the Nexus Academy Foundation (501c3).The amount of aid available is determined by community sponsorships. Don’t let tuition be a barrier to applying. Financial aid applications are available to families once a student has been accepted.​

After holding tuition well below the actual cost for several years, this adjustment brings Nexus in line with comparable private schools in our market, including an experienced academic team and program and world-class coaching with a professional-level futbol program.

Admissions FAQs
Are your courses NCAA-approved?
Yes. All core courses required for NCAA eligibility are approved. Our NCAA High School Code is 853405.

What is the tuition for 2026–2027?
Tuition is $19,900 (current Nexus students receive a discount). Additional costs include lunch, uniforms, and field trips.

Do you provide financial aid?
Yes. All families are invited to apply for need-based assistance through the Nexus Academy Foundation (501c3). 

Can I tour Nexus?
Private tours are available only for families in the application process (beginning in November). Open Houses and group tours are available — RSVP on our Admissions Events page.
