At Nexus, we want families to have clear answers about the admissions process, academics, and student life.

Academics
Are your courses NCAA-approved?
Yes. All courses required for NCAA eligibility are approved. Our NCAA High School Code is 853405. Nexus students begin their NCAA eligibility path in 8th grade, preparing them for Division I or II athletics.
Is the curriculum just online learning?
No. Nexus courses are designed and taught by qualified, experienced teachers. Students learn in a classroom environment with direct instruction, discussions, and collaborative projects—similar to a traditional school but with the added advantage of our integrated futbol program.  Students starting in 8th grade will use their computers for select classes, and their classes will use the Google Classroom for their curriculum.
Can Nexus provide specialized learning for students with IEPs or 504 plans?
At this time, Nexus is not able to support students who require formal IEP or 504 accommodations.
Admissions Process
What grades are you accepting for the 2026–2027 school year?
We are accepting applications for grades 3–11.
What testing is required?
All applicants must take the ISEE through the Educational Records Bureau (ERB). Families are responsible for scheduling the test and covering ERB fees. Learn more and register for the ISEE.
What is the Trialist process?
Applicants must submit video footage as part of the soccer evaluation. Families may also schedule a private session (including video) for $100.
Can I tour Nexus?
Private tours are available only for families in the application process (beginning in November). Open Houses and group tours will be scheduled later in the year.
Tuition & Financial Aid
What is the tuition for the 2026–2027 school year?

Tuition is $19,900. Current Nexus students receive a discount. Additional costs include lunch, uniforms, and field trips.
Do you provide financial aid?
Yes. All families are invited to apply for need-based assistance through the Nexus Academy Foundation (501c3). The amount of aid available depends on community sponsorships. Don’t let tuition be a barrier to applying. Financial aid applications are available to families once a student has been accepted. Learn more about Financial Aid at Nexus.
Student Life & Parent Involvement
Do you offer other sports besides soccer?
No. Nexus is a soccer-only program. While we occasionally connect families with other community programs, our focus is exclusively on soccer development.
How can parents get involved with Nexus?
Family involvement is a key part of our culture. Parents have supported Nexus as volunteers, contractors, staff, and sponsors. If you are interested in contributing, please email [email protected]. Please note that parent involvement does not influence admissions decisions.
