Academics
Are your courses NCAA-approved?
Yes. All courses required for NCAA eligibility are approved. Our NCAA High School Code is 853405. Nexus students begin their NCAA eligibility path in 8th grade, preparing them for Division I or II athletics.
Is the curriculum just online learning?
No. Nexus courses are designed and taught by qualified, experienced teachers. Students learn in a classroom environment with direct instruction, discussions, and collaborative projects—similar to a traditional school but with the added advantage of our integrated futbol program. Students starting in 8th grade will use their computers for select classes, and their classes will use the Google Classroom for their curriculum.
Can Nexus provide specialized learning for students with IEPs or 504 plans?
At this time, Nexus is not able to support students who require formal IEP or 504 accommodations.
