Your pathway to admission begins as a Nexus Trialist.
For the 2026–27 school year, all applicants (grades 3–11) submit a video evaluation.
​Private sessions with video are also available as an alternative.

Admissions Timeline
​Applications open: October 1, 2025
Application deadline: January 31, 2026
Decisions released: March 6, 2026
Commitment deadline: April 11, 2026
Tuition payment begins: June 1, 2026
First day of school: August 11, 2026

What We’re Looking For
We evaluate the whole player—technical ability, tactical understanding, physical tools, and character—with age-appropriate expectations and a growth-mindset lens.
  • Technical: first touch, ball mastery, dribbling, passing/receiving, finishing
  • Tactical: decision-making, movement off the ball, spacing, transition moments
  • Physical: speed, agility, endurance, strength relative to age
  • Character: coachability, resilience, communication, teamwork
Application Requirements
1. Online Application & Fee
Complete the online application and pay the $150 Nexus application fee.
ERB/ISEE testing fees are separate and paid directly to ERB.
2. Academic Testing
All applicants (Grades 3–11) take the ISEE through ERB.

3. Soccer Evaluation (Trialist Video or Private Session with video)
Applicants submit a video evaluation by January 31, 2026, or may schedule a private session with video on Mindbody. We’ve created a step-by-step guide to make this process simple and straightforward. Click here for instructions on how to create and submit your child’s trialist video.
4. Recommendations
  • Coach Recommendation: One recommendation from a current coach (or a coach within the last year). You’ll enter contact info in the application; we’ll send them a secure form.
  • Teacher Recommendations: Two recommendations from current or recent teachers. Contact info is entered in the application; we’ll send each teacher a secure form.

Next Steps After Submission
  • Online Application + ISEE registration complete
  • Trialist video received (or private session completed)
  • Application review (academics + soccer + recommendations)
  • Interview and shadow day may be requested for selected applicants
  • Admissions decision released on March 6, 2026 ​
Tours & Events
  • Private tours available beginning in November (only for families in the application process).
  • ​Open Houses and group tours will be posted on the Admissions Page.
