This summer, give your child more than just a camp — give them the full Nexus experience. From world-class futsal and soccer training to hands-on academics, strength and mobility sessions, daily lunch, and a vibrant community of passionate coaches and teammates, Nexus Summer Camps are where student-athletes grow on and off the field. It’s a place to train hard, think big, and be part of something that feels like family. We will have six (6) weeks of camps, and each one will look similar in the schedule:
Week 1: June 2-6, 2025 (5 days)
Week 2: June 9-13, 2025 (5 days)
Week 3: June 16-20, 2025 (5 days)
Week 4: June 23-27, 2025 (5 days)
Week 5: June 30-July 3, 2025 (4 days)
Week 6: July 7-11, 2025 (5 days)
We offer five customized camp tracks to meet the needs of every player — from our youngest Juniors (ages 4–7) to our most advanced Invite-Only athletes.
2010/2011/2012 Invite-Only: This group is designed for advanced U16/U15/U14 players who have been invited based on their performance, potential, and commitment to training. Athletes in this group will follow a high-intensity schedule that includes futsal, strength and performance training, academics, and evening soccer field sessions that rotate between Nexus and Memorial Hermann Sports Park. Expect a competitive environment with players who are focused on taking their game to the next level. Select players in these groups are also preparing to represent Heart and Sole Futsal for the World Futsal Championship tournament in Orlando this July. These camps will serve as a key part of their training cycle leading up to the event.
2013/2014 Invite-Only: This group is built for advanced U13/U12 players who have been invited based on their technical ability, coachability, and commitment to long-term development. Players in this group will follow a structured and challenging schedule that includes futsal, strength and performance training, academic enrichment, and field sessions at Nexus. The training environment emphasizes purposeful development, with players surrounded by peers who are driven to grow. Select players in this group are also preparing to represent Heart and Sole Futsal at the World Futsal Championship tournament in Orlando this July. These camps are a critical part of their preparation and training progression leading into the competition.
2015/2016 Invite-Only: This group is designed for advanced U11/U10 players who have been invited based on their technical skill, coachability, and passion for learning. The daily schedule includes futsal, academic enrichment, and small-sided soccer sessions at Nexus, with a focus on building strong habits and a love for the game. The day is shorter and developmentally appropriate, with plenty of purposeful training in a fun, high-energy environment. Select players in this group are also preparing to represent Heart and Sole Futsal at the World Futsal Championship tournament in Orlando this July. For those players, this camp serves as a key part of their summer training and team preparation.
Juniors (Ages 4–7): This group is perfect for our youngest players, ages 4–7, who are just beginning their soccer journey. Juniors start their day with two fun-filled hours of futsal at the gym, where they build foundational skills through games, movement, and tons of touches on the ball. After futsal, they head back to Nexus for age-appropriate academic activities designed to keep their minds engaged in a playful, creative way. The day wraps up with small-sided soccer games on the Nexus turf, with a fun transition activity built in to keep things light and exciting. It’s the ideal balance of structure and joy, designed to nurture a love for the game and school in a safe, supportive environment.
Open Development (Ages 8–13): This group is open to all players in the U8–U13 range who want to improve their skills in a positive, structured setting. It’s perfect for kids newer to competitive soccer or looking to boost their confidence before advancing to an invite-only group. The day includes soccer, futsal, academic time, mobility, performance, recovery, and movement-based training in a supportive, growth-focused atmosphere.
Each group has a thoughtfully designed daily schedule, where you can attend the full day or select your blocks of time. See each group's weekly plan here:

Each day is made up of different blocks. Players may sign up for one session or build a full-day experience. Our sessions include:
Soccer: Our soccer blocks are designed to build mastery in a game-relevant, age-appropriate way. From small-sided games on the Nexus turf to full-field tactical work at Memorial Hermann Sports Park, each session is purposeful. Younger players focus on creativity, confidence, and ball control. Older and invite-only players experience high-intensity, position-specific training aligned with their developmental goals.
Soccer sessions are scheduled around the Houston heat, with younger kids training in the morning and older players training in the evenings. Across all groups, the focus is clear: develop smarter players, not just harder workers. Learn more about the Nexus Futbol program here.
Futsal: Futsal has a dedicated training block for the summer camp to focus on developing the technical and tactical skills that directly translate to the outdoor game. With its fast tempo and constant decision-making, futsal accelerates a player’s touch, awareness, and confidence in tight spaces — all essential traits for success on the field. During the summer camp, players will use this block to work on:
Academic Camp: Our Academic Camp offers players a daily mental reset and a chance to grow off the field. While final topics will be announced soon, all sessions will be age-appropriate, engaging, and aligned with the values of Nexus: curiosity, discipline, and balance.
Possible academic camps include:
Math
Science Explorers (hands-on experiments and critical thinking)
Reading & Book Club (discussion and literacy through short stories or novels)
Creative Writing & Storytelling
Spanish Language Lab
Nutrition for the High-Performing Athlete
College Counseling & Pathway Planning (for older students)
Whether it's building numeracy or planning for college, our academic blocks are an essential part of developing the whole student-athlete. Learn more about the Academics at Nexus here.
Gym: The gym block is designed to support each athlete’s long-term physical development through targeted, age-appropriate training. Sessions may focus on strength, agility, conditioning, recovery, or speed depending on the day and the needs of the group. Mobility, movement quality, and injury prevention are embedded throughout the week to ensure that players build healthy habits alongside performance gains.
Our approach mirrors what elite academies do around the world: smart, intentional physical training that matches the intensity of on-field work while never overwhelming young bodies. Whether it's through recovery-based circuits or explosive speed work, the gym block at Nexus is where players begin to understand their bodies as athletes — not just soccer players.
