Courtney Ngwolo

Nexus teacher
Mrs. Ngwolo has 12 years’ experience in education. She is certified in
secondary education with emphasis in 4 th -8 th grade and has taught all in
districts across greater Houston. Not only does she have experience in
education she has worked in child exercise and sport-related fields. She has
taught various types of students with different learning styles and has
certifications for special populations of students. She has taught all core
subjects but has put most of her emphasis in her career in Reading and
Writing skills with students. Mrs. Ngwolo attended the University of Texas at
Arlington where she earned a B.S in Kinesiology with emphasis in Exercise
Science. GO MAVS! She found that she was passionate in helping kids grow
in all aspects of life and decided to pursue a teaching certification shortly
after graduating. She believes that teaching the whole child is important in
education. She is excited to join the Nexus family because she believes that
she can help student athletes rise to new heights to reach their highest
potential on and off the pitch.

Mrs. Ngwolo is married to her husband Bisi of 14 years and share 3
boys together. The two eldest boys play soccer at a highly competitive level.
She will have one son that will join the Nexus family with her. She is excited
to have him join a great group of boys that have the same common interest
as her son, which is academic and athletic success.​
