Texas School Choice Voucher Program & Nexus
Starting Fall 2026, Texas will provide families with up to $10,000 per student to attend an eligible private school.
Applications for TEFA will be open from February 4 at 9:00am until March 31 at 11:59pm, 2026.
TEFA Update — Nexus Participation Status
Nexus Futbol Academy is now officially a TEFA-eligible participating school!
We have successfully completed the necessary accreditation and program requirements and are now able to accept TEFA funds for eligible families beginning Fall 2026.
Families who have been awarded funding may now log into their Odyssey accounts and select Nexus Futbol Academy as their approved school choice.
What this means for families:

- Nexus is now listed as an eligible school within the Odyssey portal
- TEFA-awarded families can actively select Nexus as their school of choice
- Funds may be applied toward eligible tuition beginning Fall 2026

- Navigate to your awarded student profile
- Select Nexus Futbol Academy as your school of choice
- Complete the confirmation process within the portal deadlines

No. Applying for TEFA is separate from the admissions process. Receiving a TEFA award does not commit you to attending Nexus Futbol Academy or any other participating school. You can explore your options before making a final enrollment decision.
Is Nexus Futbol Academy a TEFA-eligible school?
Yes. Nexus Futbol Academy is an approved TEFA-eligible school and is able to accept TEFA funds for eligible students beginning in the 2026–27 school year.
How do I use my TEFA award at Nexus?
If you've been awarded TEFA funding, log into your Odyssey account and select Nexus Futbol Academy as your school of choice. Once your selection is confirmed, we will work with Odyssey to complete the enrollment and funding process.
