Spanish Program by Grade Level
- Grades 4–5:
Three times per week, students build a strong foundation in Spanish through songs, games, visuals, and interactive activities that make language learning fun and memorable. - Grades 6–7:
Every day of the week, students expand their vocabulary, grammar, and conversational skills with project-based learning, cultural explorations, and more structured reading and writing activities. - Grades 8–10 (High School Level – Spanish 1–3):
Students in grades 8 and up progress through high school-level, NCAA-approved, Spanish that goes on their high school transcript for college admissions. The course is enhanced and enriched for all levels of Spanish speakers. This approach allows beginners, intermediate learners, and heritage speakers alike to be challenged and supported, achieving deeper proficiency and cultural understanding, all while meeting the NCAA Division I foreign language requirements.
