What is the Texas Voucher Program?
Texas is launching Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) to help families afford private school tuition.
Eligible families may receive up to $10,000 per student per year.
Students with disabilities may be eligible for higher amounts.
The program is not yet active — the state will open applications in early 2026.
