Dear Nexus Families,

Over the past two years, it has been a true joy to be part of the Nexus community. Teaching your children has been a privilege—one that has left a lasting mark on both my professional and personal life. The warmth, passion, and dedication I’ve seen in our students and families have made this more than just a job—it has truly felt like family.

This summer, I will be completing my master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, and earlier this year, after much thought and prayer, I shared with the Nexus leadership team my decision to step away from my role at the end of this school year. It was not an easy decision—I love my students and believe deeply in the mission of this school. But after careful planning and open conversations, I’m excited to pursue a new path that aligns with my long-term goals and personal growth.

Although I’ll no longer be teaching at Nexus, this isn’t goodbye. As anyone in youth soccer knows—our world is a small one, and I’m sure our paths will cross again.

Thank you for your trust, your support, and the countless memories. It’s been an honor to be part of your child’s journey.

With gratitude,

Dear Nexus Families,

It is with heartfelt appreciation that we share the news of Mrs. Courtney Ngwolo’s departure at the end of this school year. Over the past two years, Mrs. Ngwolo has been a cornerstone of our academic team—bringing consistency, warmth, and rigor to the English classroom and helping to shape the culture and values we hold dear at Nexus.

Mrs. Ngwolo’s impact is immeasurable. Her ability to connect with students, her dedication to excellence, and her genuine care for our community have left a mark that will remain long after she moves on. We fully support her decision to pursue her passion in Applied Behavior Analysis and wish her nothing but continued success and fulfillment in this next chapter.

Because Mrs. Ngwolo shared her plans with us early in the school year, we’ve had the time to carefully and thoughtfully find the right person to step into this role. We’re excited to share that we’ve secured a new English teacher who brings over a decade of experience teaching grades 7–12, including AP and honors English courses. She has a strong background in curriculum development and student-centered learning, and we look forward to introducing her to the community soon.

We are deeply grateful for Mrs. Ngwolo’s extraordinary service and the role she has played in shaping our school. As we prepare for this transition, we do so with confidence—knowing that the foundation she helped build will continue to grow under new leadership aligned with the values we all share.

Warmly,

Dear Nexus Families,

It’s hard to put into words what Mrs. Courtney Ngwolo has meant to our school. From the moment she joined Nexus, she brought not only academic strength to our team, but heart. She was the teacher our kids could talk to—the one who listened without judgment, who believed in them deeply, and who made each student feel known and valued.

Courtney shared her son with us, and having both of them as part of our community made Nexus feel even more like home. But what stood out most was how she cared for every student—whether or not they were her own—with the same love, patience, and high expectations. She saw the potential in each child and treated them with the respect and compassion they deserved.

As a colleague, she’s someone I’ve leaned on—someone whose calm strength, sense of humor, and kindness I will truly miss. While I’m sad to see her go, I’m incredibly proud of her. Earning a master’s degree while working full-time is no small feat, and yet, Courtney did it with grace. She never showed stress. She never made excuses. She just kept showing up for our students, every day, with quiet strength and relentless care.

She embodies exactly what we teach at Nexus: resilience, integrity, and purpose.
Courtney, thank you for everything.

Courtney - You’ve left a mark on this school and on all of us. And I know that whatever comes next for you, you’ll continue to lead with the same heart you brought here.

With gratitude and admiration,

Dear Nexus Families,

From the moment Mrs. Courtney Ngwolo joined Nexus, she embraced our mission of developing student-athletes who lead with character, pursue academic excellence, and dream big. As co-founders, we’ve had the unique opportunity to witness the impact she has made—not just in the classroom, but in the hearts of our students.

Mrs. Ngwolo has modeled what it means to be both compassionate and uncompromising when it comes to holding students to high standards. Her presence brought stability and purpose to our academic team at a critical time in our school’s growth. Simply put, we would not be the school we are today without her.

While we are sad to see her go, we are also proud to see her walk into a future she has worked so hard to prepare for. We’re grateful she gave us ample time to find a strong successor—someone whose values and strengths align beautifully with what Mrs. Ngwolo built.

Please join us in thanking Courtney for everything she’s given to Nexus. We’ll miss her presence daily, but her legacy will live on in the students she’s helped shape.

With appreciation,
