- Students will watch from and line up at the top of the X staircase in order.
- The student listed first, is the student who will lead the group. That student will introduce himself/herself first, then the group will follow. The leaders in the rehearsal video are Emi and Kenzy.
- The leader will answer the first question, then I will ask questions down the table. After the last question, Señora Henderson will ask the Spanish question to the student(s) answering the question in Spanish.
- Ms. Canales will then speak to the students, and the students will sign the pledge, look up when finished for a photo with the staff behind them.
- They will exit (pushing their chairs in) following the leader, back up the stairs quietly.

Drop off and pick up is at POST (not Nexus). Drop off: 8:00 AM Pick up: 3:15 PM Carpools back to Nexus must be arranged directly between parents. What to Wear & Bring
Arrival Outfit (wear when you arrive at POST): - Nexus polo - Nexus shorts - Black socks - Tennis shoes or futsal shoes (no slides, Crocs, or cleats) Pack in Backpack: - White or Red (for High School students) NEW Nexus training top (extra) - Cleats - Small water bottle (must fit inside backpack) - Nexus-approved Fuel - Small towel (if you get sweaty) - Any toiletries for touch-ups (hair, make-up) - Small prop (sunglasses) - Jewelry that is not distracting is allowed (bracelet, watch, necklace, earrings) - Flag of your country (optional but encouraged). This will be part of the photo shoot. See the Professional Photo Shoot section for more details and visual inspiration for the pose. Students should not bring phones to Media Day. If it is absolutely necessary, the phone must remain on silent in the backpack at all times. Any phone seen out will be collected and returned at the end of the day. Lunch

Can my child bring a phone?
No. Phones will not be allowed during Media Day. Students will not be able to use ApplePay for lunch purchases. If it is absolutely necessary, the phone must remain on silent in the backpack at all times. Any phone seen out will be collected and returned at the end of the day.
Will there be transportation provided by Nexus?
No. Drop-off and pick-up are both at POST. Carpools back to Nexus must be arranged between families, with notice to the school if your child is leaving with someone else.
Can siblings or extended family attend the press conference?
Seating is limited. Priority is given to parents/guardians of Nexus students.
What happens if my child is late?
It is critical that students arrive on time. A late arrival may result in missing the press conference portion of Media Day.
What happens during the practice day at Nexus?
Students will rehearse answering interview questions, practice required poses, and try out their futbol skills for the camera.
Will parents get a full set of professional photos and videos?
Each family will receive the smiling polo headshot. An additional photo/video package will be available for purchase. (Details TBA)

Students will remain with Nexus staff for the full school day. Pick will be at the same location (POST) at 3:15.
Can parents stay past the press conference?

Not as formal portraits. If time allows, we can capture casual group shots on the rooftop.
