College counseling at Nexus is led by co-founder Ibrahim Firat, a pioneer in the educational consulting industry since 2008 and co-founder of Firat Education. Over the past fifteen years, he and his team have guided more than a thousand students through the admissions process, resulting in over 2,000 college acceptances and more than $108 million in scholarships awarded. The work goes well beyond applications. Students have benefited from 300+ campus visits, including opportunities at 83 Division I soccer programs, ensuring they are prepared to find the right academic and athletic fit. Ibrahim’s expertise is widely recognized—he is the author of nine books and has been featured in local and national media since 2014. In addition to his hands-on work with families, Ibrahim serves the wider profession as Board President of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), where he leads a network of more than 2,400 consultants worldwide. |
